Tom Millar QuartetOctober 2nd, 2017

Tom Millar is a pianist, composer and bandleader. He was born in Sydney, Australia and grew up in London. After reading Music at King’s College, Cambridge, he studied Jazz Piano and Composition for a Masters at the Royal Academy of Music, London, and with Django Bates in Bern, Switzerland.

Gwilym Simcock – Kenilworth Arts FestivalSeptember 21st, 2017

Presented in a partnership between the Kenilworth Arts Festival and Kenilworth Jazz Club

This concert took place in St. John’s Church, Warwick Road, Kenilworth as part of  Kenilworth Arts Festival.

Gwilym Simcock is one of the most gifted pianists and imaginative composers on the European scene. He moves effortlessly between jazz and classical music, with a “harmonic sophistication and subtle dovetailing of musical traditions.” Gwilym has been hailed as a pianist of ‘exceptional’, ‘brilliant’ and ‘dazzling’ ability, and his music has received universal critical acclaim and a myriad of prestigious awards.
