Monday 3rd March 2014
Swing from Paris came over from their base in Stroud, Gloucestershire, to play to another packed Kenilworth Jazz Club crowd. They brought with them the sounds of a chic Parisian café and the French jazz of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. We enjoyed music by Edith Piaf, Charlie Parker, Duke Ellington and more – stylish gypsy jazz and vintage swing, with violin, guitars and double bass. Once again they very well received and much appreciated.

Trombonist, composer and bandleader Tom Green may or may not be a familiar name but over the next few years will be a musician for us all to look out for. As one of the winners of the prestigious Dankworth Prize for Composition, Green took his septet on tour, including the opening night of the Kenilworth Jazz Club!
