April saw the return of Saxophonist Mike Hall, this time accompanied by graduates from the Royal Northern College of Music; Aaron Wood (trumpet) and James Girling (guitar). They were more than ably backed by Mitch Perrins (drums) and Mike Green (bass).

Tipped as one to watch in 2017 by Jazzwise Magazine, Camilla George is a London based saxophone player, improviser, composer and teacher. In 2009 she joined award-winning band, Jazz Jamaica and in 2014 formed the Camilla George Quartet.

On Monday 27th February 2017 her album launch tour arrived at Kenilworth Jazz Club and played to a full house. The band comprised Camilla George on alto sax, Sarah Tandy on keys, Dan Casimir on bass and Femi Koleoso on drums.
