Appearing as part of the Kenilworth Arts Festival in the beautiful surroundings of St. John’s Church, Tim Garland brought his Quartet to Kenilworth with Jason Rebello, Asaf Sirkis and Ant Law. Since the early 1990’s Tim Garland has been touring extensively throughout Europe and latterly worldwide as saxophonist for Chick Corea’s Vigil. With numerous recordings to his name as well as appearing as sideman, Tim Garland is one of UK’s prolific performers and a world class instrumentalist.

Emma Johnson’s Gravy Boat is an outlet for Emma’s original compositions featuring Calvin Travers (guitar), Sam Quintana (double bass), and Ali Wells (drums).

Emma’s first project for small ensemble aims to explore the different textures and possibilities that emerge from a small band of close-knit musicians performing together. Emma’s writing for the quartet displays a contemporary sound rooted by strong melodies.
